A Christmas Octopus

I'm such a sucker for cephalopods. It's those fluid, flexible bodies and intelligence. And invertebrates are universally cool. Well, as I was about to head out on a full-day drive from here in Connecticut all the way down to South Carolina for the holiday, I saw this post on BoingBoing. The trip had to wait for me to make a purchase!
Mad props to Amy at bunnyXproductions not only for the creativity to make such a cool little octopus, but for taking my Sunday purchase and packing it up and shipping it on Christmas eve. My octopus beat me home! I think I got lucky, 'cause it looks like she's sold out.
