I don't know how it happened, but Boojum got a small chunk taken out of the tip of his right ear. It bleeds, of course, and the blood doesn't clot quickly. I first noticed after giving him a bath. He walked off, clean and wet, and came back with his head and neck covered in blood. When he shakes, the tip of his bloody ear hits his head and neck. And he shakes so hard that the centrifugal force sends blood flying. Everywhere. All over the walls. I spent a good half-hour scrubbing blood off the walls of my house. I've since picked up some styptic powder, but not before he covered most surfaces (and clothing) in fine blood spots. No doubt I'll be finding them for a long, long time.
Not pictured: blood-splattered walls.
